Los Angeles - Santa Monica, Venice beach

Hello, everybody,

Let me share a summerish, by the ocean look, since the weather
outside is so darn nice. At least here in Romania it is nice :)
The outfit was not quite appropriate for the beach, but who cares? :D
I actually prepared this look for a day at the studios, but
in the end we decided not to go - hence
the '' marvelous'' t-shirt I am wearing :)
All in all, it was a comfy look and despite the many weirdos
that hung around Venice beach, I was not one of them, because of
my look :).

The streets of Los Angeles (Beverly Hills, actually)

Hello, everybody,

What comes after Santa Barbara? well, Los Angeles, a city I did not like :D
I am not kidding, I really did not like it, but I will tell you more about the why
in a future post on my travel blog here.
Now, let's focus on the first LA outfit :))
I brought a second pleated skirt with me of course and I went for
a bright colour block combo, as you can see.
Blue and hot pink are always perfect together.
Had I known that it is better not to stand out in this city, I would have
reconsidered the colours :))

Santa Barbara at sunset

Hello, everybody,

The USA outfits series continues - this time with a lovely maxi green
dress, in the lovely city of Santa Barbara.
When I was little I used to watch a soap opera called Santa Barbara :)),
but I don't recall anything from that.
We only stayed one night unfortunately and I managed to visit mostly
the part near the ocean, but I am sure it is a lovely city.
For sure it is expensive :), but what is cheap on the west coast in USA? :D
Since I mostly stayed near the ocean, I chose a proper outfit - comfy
dress, flip flops, jeans jacket and of course on top
of everything, my lovely curls :)) - I am laughing now,
but it was a nightmare not to be able to straighten my hair, as I usually do :)
Anyhow, the hair behaved and the pics are not bad :)

Big Sur California

Hello, everybody,

Let's continue with the West Coast outfits :)
But before that, let me tell you a little bit about the background behind me.
I am sure that you can recognize the bridge from the first pic :) - at least
those of you who watch Big Little Lies know what I am talking about.
This road is called Cabrillo Highway and the area it is in is called Big Sur.
It starts somewhere after Carmel and
it takes you almost all the way down to Santa Barbara.
It is near the mountains and also near the Pacific Ocean.
At a certain point you have the mountain on your left and the ocean on
your right and you drive like that for a while. It is just amazing.
There is no signal, but you don't need it. You need to breathe in the fresh air
and enjoy the amazing views.
About me and my outfit: you'll notice the curly hair - that is just
my hair in its natural state :)), because my electric hairbrush did not work in USA :)
The outfit it simple: white shirt, culottes (yes, I brought a pair with me:)),
espadrilles and the cherries :)
