Old is new again

I've been very busy for the past 2 days with some renovations in the house,

namely refurbishing my wooden floors (I just stood there watching of course :D).

I don't have pictures with the before floors, but I took some after pictures

with my now shiny floors.

But that's not the only thing that changed in the living room.

I also bought a brand new lamp shade which is just lovely:

The lamp shade is the perfect match for my drapes (Living room drapes)

and for the white furniture:

And also perfect match for the big burlap bow on the wall:
