Stripes & Pleats

Hello, everybody!

Today it's time for pleats and stripes.
Red pleats and navy stripes sure look great together, don't they?
I've been looking for this skirt for a while and now
that I finally have it, I think I'll wear it out for sure :)
If you don't know what to wear, you can always bet on the pleats.
There's no way they won't look good on you.
Add some naughty curls (in my case don't straighten your hair) and you're good to go :)

Retro gal, retro Coke, RETRO everything

Hello, everybody!

How is your weekend?
Here it was very and I mean very hot, but it didn't stop me from
taking some cute pics with my newest acquisition from The Dearhunters.
This adorable retro dress has everything a girl needs: lovely colour,
great material and cut and the always amazing pleats.
Then I put my mind to work and I came up with this lovely retro setting for this lovely dress.
All the props are of course from my own collection :)
The most valuable are the retro Coke bottle and the magazine I'm reading,
which is a vintage fashion magazine I got from my honeymoon in Paris.

Confessions of a pin-up girl

Hello, everybody!

Well, this post was bound to happen sooner or later :)
And now let's confess :) - I love dots, I love blue and red together,
I love retro vibes in every outfit, I love red lips, I love Minnie like outfits and
most of all I love stray dogs :)
Especially when they show up in my pictures :) - you'll see.

Back to the 80s

Hello, everybody!

For today's outfit we're going back in time, all the way to the 80s.
Although I'm not the biggest fan of the 80s (I'm more like a 50s gal :),
I have to say that I felt in love this pair of white jeans as soon as
I saw it on The Dearhunters
I mentioned them before, because this is not the first time I wore something
from their lovely vintage collection.
Remember this lovely outfit?
That lovely pair of pants was another treasure from their site.

Retro dots maxi skirt

Hello, everybody!

After retro stripes, here come the retro dots :)
Aren't they just the cutest ever? I know I almost fainted when I first saw this skirt.
I took it from a vintage fair for about 5 Euros :)
I'm telling you dressing on a low budget has never felt better.
I guess I'm just lucky! Hopefully, I won't run out of it, because
I really cannot afford to buy expensive stuff.
And after all, isn't that what is all about? to dress chic on a low budget?
Thrifted stores, vintage fairs be aware cause here I come :)
