Well, my trip to Paris this year was not all about fun and walking around :)
I went there with a specific goal in mind - running 6.7 km @ La Parisienne 2014.
I will not get into all the details here, because you can find everything you need
to know about the event on their site.
Anyway, around 40000 women registered to run in the event and around 32000 actually ran.
Pretty impressive and a very nice atmosphere to see so many people (women :) gathered
and ready to run.
I was so nervous because I did not train enough and I was only able
to run 5 km and then I had to rest.
I don't know exactly what happened there, but all I know is that I did not stop running
until the finish line. I manage to finish the race (all 6.7 km) in 45.15 min and for that I am
very proud of myself :)
Here are some pics from the event.
A dad dressed as a proud mom I think :)
A grandma :)
And she was not the only one :)
And here I am while running :) - the girl in the background, not the one in front :)
Don't mind my face please :)
2 more photos while running - kinda of a bad resolution unfortunately
Again - don't mind my face :)
Just think this: run, Forest, run! :)
And here is my proud face at the end :)
